The Israeli military recorded a case of illegal crossing of the country's border. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Israeli army.

According to the report, on February 5, an unidentified person crossed the border fence from Israeli territory towards Lebanon. It is specified that the fact of the incident is now being investigated.

In December, the Israeli army reported a downed drone that flew into Israel from Lebanon. It was clarified that the apparatus, presumably, belongs to the Hezbollah movement.

Prior to this, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said that Israel's agreement on the demarcation of maritime borders with Lebanon reduces the likelihood of a war with Hezbollah. Countries have been arguing for years over the 860 sq. km. According to Lapid, the Israeli Armed Forces are stronger than any terrorist organization.
