The head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, said on his Telegram channel that Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, will become the country's defense minister instead of Alexei Reznikov.

“Alexey Reznikov, within the government, is being transferred to the post of Minister for Strategic Industries to strengthen military-industrial cooperation, which is absolutely logical, given his expertise in Rammstein ... Major General Kirill Budanov will head the Ministry of Defense, which is absolutely logical for the military time,” wrote the head of the faction.

According to him, Igor Klymenko, who previously held the post of head of the National Police, will now become the head of the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Security Service of Ukraine will be headed by Vasily Malyuk.

Arakhamia added that now law enforcement agencies should be headed by "cadre security officials", not politicians.

Earlier, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the party "Voice" Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced the approval of personnel changes in the government of the republic.
