French politician and leader of the nationalist party "Patriots" Florian Filippo reacted critically to the photo, which depicts the laughing President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. He published the corresponding post on his Twitter.

In this picture, Filippo said, von der Leyen, her European commissioners and the Ukrainian leader are "drunk with laughter."

“It's unfortunate. The oligarchy has always looked at wars, laughing and counting their millions, ”he wrote on the social network.

Earlier, Filippo has repeatedly criticized Western countries for financial assistance to Kyiv and the supply of military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On February 2, Ursula von der Leyen, head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell, as well as a group of European commissioners arrived in Ukraine on an official visit. During her visit to Kyiv, von der Leyen met with Zelensky. They discussed anti-Russian sanctions, the republic's accession to the European Union, and also announced the creation of a center for "prosecution for the crime of aggression in Ukraine."
