Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin on Sunday, February 5, had a telephone conversation. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Pool of the First”.

Details of the telephone conversation between the heads of the two states are not given.

On December 19, Putin made a working visit to Minsk, where he met with Lukashenka. They discussed trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of allied programs.

The next day, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said that the Russian and Belarusian sides "did not have a single area where solutions were not found or there were inconsistent positions."

In turn, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that during the meeting in Minsk, Putin and Lukashenko confirmed the unshakable course towards strengthening the sovereignties of the two countries.
