The head of the "Servant of the People" said that ex-ministers deprived of citizenship of Ukraine are awaiting arrest

The head of the faction of the pro-presidential Servant of the People party in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, David Arakhamia, said that there would be further tough measures against ex-ministers and politicians deprived of their citizenship. He announced this in his Telegram channel.

“The next step will be the imposition of sanctions on them, the arrest and confiscation in favor of the state of all their property, corporate rights and other assets,” the statement said.

He also confirmed media reports that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky had revoked the citizenship of several people, including former ministers who worked under President Viktor Yanukovych. Among them, Arakhamia named ex-Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Tabachnik, ex-Minister of Revenue and Duties Oleksandr Klymenko, former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Zakharchenko, ex-head of the SBU Oleksandr Yakymenko and others.

Earlier, UNN, citing law enforcement sources, claimed that Zelensky had revoked the citizenship of several top officials who worked under former President Viktor Yanukovych.

Prior to this, the Ukrainian President stated that he instructed the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk to consider the early termination of the powers of deputies who are members of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, banned in the country.
