The government of Ukraine said that women civil servants of the country who have minor children can travel abroad to them or with them. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“Recently, new border crossing rules have been introduced for civil servants and representatives of local governments. However, Ukrainian female officials can freely visit their children abroad,” the publication says.

It is noted that in order to leave, officials need to have birth certificates for the child, “no other documents need to be presented to the child for traveling abroad.”

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the government of the country had decided to ban officials from leaving the country without good reason.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a military special operation to protect Donbass in response to a request for help from the heads of the LPR and DPR.

The decision to conduct the operation was the reason for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
