US President Joe Biden said the US administration would "take care" of the situation around the Chinese probe in US airspace. It is reported by TASS.

"We'll take care of it," Biden said.

Thus, he responded to the request of journalists to comment on the situation around the Chinese probe.

The President of the United States did not explain his statement.

Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry explained the appearance of its weather balloon in US airspace as a deviation from the intended course due to strong winds and strongly protested the unlawful attacks from Washington.

Prior to this, NBC, citing Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder, reported that the US military has been tracking a suspected Chinese reconnaissance balloon over the north of the country over the past few days. Ryder later claimed that the appearance of a Chinese probe in US airspace violated international law.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called the China weather balloon incident a "violation of US sovereignty."
