“It seems that it is Russia that will be able to free the Ukrainian brothers from neo-Nazism. And the sooner we do this, the more living Ukrainians will return to their homes, to their families. And the sooner friendship between Russians and Ukrainians will be restored, ”the senator wrote.

In his opinion, Ukrainian politicians “throw their unfortunate people into the heat of war for each new supply of weapons.”

Earlier, the Pentagon reported that a new package of military assistance to Ukraine from the United States includes two MIM-23 Hawk anti-aircraft missile systems, ammunition for HIMARS and Javelin, as well as artillery and mortar shells.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a military special operation to protect Donbass in response to a request for help from the heads of the LPR and DPR.

The decision to conduct the operation was the reason for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
