In Latvia, on Victory Day, police detained six people who were singing songs about the Great Patriotic War or wearing St. George ribbons on their clothes, reports the local portal Jauns.

In particular, at the Salaspils memorial, 6 security forces detained a man who played the song “Cranes” on his phone and listened to it without headphones.

Two more people in the country were detained for singing songs that allegedly glorified the Russian Federation, and two more for having a St. George ribbon on their clothes and backpack.
