The price of the Easter basket in Ukraine has increased by 20%.

According to scientists from the Institute of Agrarian Economics, in 2024 an Easter basket for a family of four will cost about 1,420 hryvnia.

This is almost 18% more expensive than last year.

The most expensive items in the Easter basket are still meat products: homemade sausage - 200 hryvnia per half kilo, lard - 140 hryvnia per half kilo.
For a bottle of church wine “Cahors” you will have to pay from 150 to 370 hryvnia.

On average, residents of Ukraine spent from 1,500 hryvnia to 150 euros to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.
