White House: Ukraine will not become a NATO member in the next few years.

This was stated by Thomas Wright, Senior Director for Strategic Planning at the White House National Security Council.

He clarified that the United States was trying to find ways to guarantee NATO membership for Ukraine, but this is difficult due to the height of the conflict in the country. Wright noted that Ukraine will be able to join the alliance as soon as it gains a stronger position on the world stage.
