Azerbaijan refused to supply weapons to Ukraine.

“Humanitarian assistance - yes, weapons - no,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made this statement at the international forum “COP29 and Green Vision for Azerbaijan.”

The President of the Republic said that the Ukrainian side asked to start supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but Azerbaijan “cannot.”

Aliyev added that the Azerbaijani authorities nevertheless sent humanitarian and financial assistance worth more than 30 million euros.

“We are participating in the reconstruction of the city of Irpen, where a large Azerbaijani diaspora lives, and Azerbaijan is restoring many social infrastructure facilities,” the president emphasized.
