On the eve of Easter, here is a review of food prices in popular metropolitan supermarkets.

This is a comparison of the cost of goods relevant for the holiday table - Easter cake, eggs, sausage, wine, etc.

The same filling of a holiday basket in different markets will cost from 1,700 UAH. (Novus) up to 1849 UAH. (Silpo).

In general, the Easter basket will be available for purchase:

from Novus for UAH 1,700.62;
in Auchan – for 1,822.70 UAH;
in the Metro – for 1,823.45 UAH;
in Silpo – for 1,849.08 UAH.

Let us remind you that, for the most part, pensioners in Ukraine receive a pension of around 3,000 UAH. And pensioners now make up almost half of the total population remaining in the country.
