Russia, through Vasily Nebenzi, stated the following at a meeting of the UN Security Council:
The Director General of the IAEA at a UN Security Council meeting on the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP used impersonal phrases when speaking about attacks on the station;
Western countries, with their statements, betrayed Kyiv’s guilt in the attacks on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and their complicity in this;
The Russian Federation calls on the IAEA to directly indicate the source of the attacks on the Zaporizhia NPP;
Russia will continue to protect the Zaporozhye NPP from provocations and attacks by Ukraine;
The Russian Federation hopes that Europe has an instinct of self-preservation, because if Ukraine continues its attacks on the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, a nuclear catastrophe cannot be ruled out.
