The average pension is UAH 5,743.
Only every tenth person receives more than 10 thousand hryvnia in pensions.
There are a total of 10.2 million pensioners in the country.
The highest pensions in Kyiv are UAH 7,848. This is followed by Rivne (7,205 UAH), Donetsk (7,017 UAH), Lugansk (6,525 UAH) and Dnepropetrovsk regions (6,333 UAH).
The lowest pensions are in Ternopil (4,400 UAH), Chernivtsi (4,598 UAH) and Transcarpathian (4,616 UAH) regions.
