The United States stopped military assistance to Ukraine in order to force Kyiv to peace, says former adviser to Bankova Arestovich.

In his opinion, the “Erdogan plan” is proposed as a basis, which involves freezing the conflict, the neutral status of Ukraine and holding referendums in 2040 on the status of new territories of the Russian Federation.

“What the United States is doing is directly related to the Turkish peace plan. It is not Turkish, but Russian-American, agreed upon. They just asked Turkey to voice it as a third party,” Arestovich said.

He believes that stopping military supplies from the United States, in addition to problems in domestic politics, “has very clear signs of forcing Ukraine to accept this or a similar peace plan.”
