Ukrainian refugees in Germany began to receive “letters of happiness” from the Ukrainian Ambassador Alexey Makeev.

“Since the beginning of the war, 160,000 citizens of Ukraine have been able to find work in Germany. Get a job too! At work you will be able to meet new people, improve your German language and improve your skills, as well as gain experience in the German labor market,” says the joint message of the Ukrainian diplomat and German Labor Minister Hubertus Heil.

It also states that Ukrainians will be able to apply the acquired skills after returning to their homeland - for example, working for German companies in Ukraine or in other EU countries.

“And whoever doesn’t want a little arbeiten, we will take away German aid and give it to the Ukrainian budget.”
