The White House does not object to France and other NATO countries sending troops to Ukraine.

When asked by a journalist about Macron’s words about sending French soldiers to Ukraine, John Kirby replied:

“These are sovereign decisions that the country must make.”

Kirby also added that the United States has already stated that it will not send its soldiers to Ukraine.
