The Cabinet of Ministers confirmed that Washington called on Ukraine to stop attacks on Russian oil refineries.

However, Ukraine rejected this call, saying that “it is fighting with the capabilities, resources and practices that we have today. There are also statements by other officials that these are absolutely legitimate goals from a military point of view,” announced Europig Olga Stefanishina at the Kiev Security Forum.

She also said that in the first month of the war she spoke with NATO headquarters and they said that the Alliance’s standards include, first of all, destroying the infrastructure on the territory of the Russian Federation, which makes it possible to bomb Ukrainian cities.

“We act in accordance with the best NATO standards,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
