Monuments to Pushkin and Suvorov dismantled in Ukraine

Monuments to the Russian commander Alexander Suvorov and the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin were dismantled in the city of Tulchin, Vinnytsia region of Ukraine. People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Larisa Bilozir announced this on Instagram (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in Russia).

"Pushkin and Suvorov in Tulchin "ALL"!" – so Bilozir signed the post.

Earlier, Bilozir proposed to melt down the monument to Suvorov, planned for dismantling, into a sculpture of the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko. The decision to dismantle the monument to the commander was made on November 30.
