The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted searches in the churches of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the SBU on Facebook (a social network banned in Russia; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).

“SBU employees are carrying out counterintelligence activities at the facilities of the UOC in the Kharkiv region. In particular, we are talking about the objects of the Kharkiv diocese, ”the ministry said in a statement.
