The coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev, who is in Donetsk, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) are moving military equipment near Nikolaev, and provided relevant photographs. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the underground worker, agents from Nikolaev often transmit data on the passage of heavy military equipment directly through the city center, and trains with military equipment also pass through the Nikolaev railway station.

A photo taken by underground activists in the center of Mykolaiv shows a BMP-2 vehicle, as well as smoke emanating - according to the photo's authors - from a column of other armored vehicles in front. Another image shows a line-up of railway platforms with at least 11 Gvozdika 122-millimeter self-propelled artillery mounts, clearly visible insignia of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Lebedev suggested that the equipment comes from Odessa and will most likely be transported to the Donbass. He recalled that several repair enterprises were operating in Nikolaev, so he did not rule out that the equipment was transferred from these factories, where it arrived after damage during the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack in the Kherson direction in summer and autumn.
