The dismissed Attorney General of Moldova, Alexander Stoianoglo, demanded the resignation of Justice Minister Sergei Litvinenko. The words of the former official from the briefing are quoted by RIA Novosti.

“I demand that Minister of Justice Sergei Litvinenko, members of the Supreme Council of Prosecutors and other persons who are involved in the process of illegally removing me from the post of Prosecutor General be held criminally liable. (...) I ask you to support their resignation,” said the dismissed prosecutor general.

Stoianoglo stressed that he had been subjected to an illegal criminal investigation, as well as falsification of the evaluation of his professional activities. He filed a corresponding application with the Prosecutor General's Office. The former official decided that he was being unlawfully persecuted based on the published correspondence of the Moldovan Minister of Justice, which discussed the process of removing Stoianoglo.

On November 9, it became known about the hacking of the Telegram channel of the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, in which the same publication was published and deleted for 15 minutes. According to the published report, Litvinenko committed acts of corruption.
