Member of the Federation Council Andrei Klishas said that in Russia there is no greater legitimacy than the words of President Vladimir Putin. He said this in an interview with Vedomosti.

According to Klishas, the state cannot issue a document for each socially significant situation.

“The President is the Supreme Commander and he has announced the end of the mobilization. Do you think decree is stronger than words? It seems to me not, at least in the perception of people, ”said a member of the Federation Council.

He also offered to imagine a situation in which the decree was issued, but Putin would have evaded answering the question about the completion of the mobilization.

“I think everyone would say: “Listen, the decree is a decree, but why doesn’t it confirm anything under the cameras,” Klishas said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the mobilization in Russia had been completed and there was no new information on this subject.

Prior to this, representatives of the Yabloko faction of the Legislative Assembly of Karelia turned to Putin, asking him to issue a decree on the completion of the mobilization.
