The Governor of the Omsk Region, Alexander Burkov, announced on his Telegram channel the creation in the region of the Council for the Affairs of Participants in a Special Military Operation under the Governor.

He noted that at the regional level there is already support for the participants in the special operation and their families in the form of a lump sum payment to all those performing combat missions. At the same time, "each time new questions and needs arise."

“I believe that they need to be discussed and resolved at a fundamentally different level - in a separate structure designed to provide comprehensive support to our defenders,” the governor said.

On the eve of the Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov visited the participants of the special military operation in a multidisciplinary medical institution of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation near Solnechnogorsk. The medical institution provides specialized medical care to military personnel, combat veterans, participants in the Great Patriotic War, as well as their families. Soldiers who took part in a special military operation are being treated there now.
