As the head of the Ministry of Education of Lithuania, Jurgita Shyugzhdinene, said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on education and science, 70% of those who wanted to study Russians turned out to be 70%.

In her opinion, this is not normal.

“I believe that the choice in favor of the Russian language will become less and less. It cannot be considered normal that about 70% of Lithuanian children study Russian,” she said.
