Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Cherkasy region Mikhail Kuratchenko, explosives engineer Igor Melnyk, cynologist Serhiy Nenada and assistant on duty of the SRPP of the Uman district police department Vadim Perizhok were blown up by mines, said the head of the National Police Igor Klymenko. 4 more policemen are seriously injured, doctors are fighting for their lives.
Kuratchenko in the Kherson region led the combined police detachment of the Cherkasy region.
