NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that he is not yet thinking about extending his mandate as head of the North Atlantic Alliance. He stated this during the event of the newspaper Financial Times.

According to Stoltenberg, he is currently focused on his current duties.

“I have no other plans than to focus on my work until the end of September next year. This is my only plan,” the NATO Secretary General said.

At the same time, Stoltenberg, who holds the post of NATO Secretary General on October 1, 2014, is confident that the countries of the alliance will be able to find a worthy replacement for him.
