The Prime Minister of the unrecognized Kosovo, Albin Kurti, threatened to deploy large Kosovo police forces in Serbian areas in the north of the province. He wrote about this on his Facebook (the owner of Meta is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned), TASS reports.

According to him, criminal gangs have stepped up attacks in northern Kosovo.

“The bombs they throw, bullets and masks are their political and national weakness,” he wrote.

As Kurti explained, it was because of them and their armed attacks north of the Ibar River that the decision was made to deploy a large number of policemen.

He noted that these crimes, "which are paid by Serbia and directed by its president," will be investigated.

ROSU special forces previously broke into the building of the election commission in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica. According to the media, explosions sounded, some areas of the city were filled with smoke, sirens were heard.
