Lithuania decided to stop broadcasting the Dozhd TV channel (the organization is included in the list of foreign agents by the Ministry of Justice) in the country following the decision of Latvia. Delphi reports.

The decision was taken by the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission.

“It was included in the list of programs rebroadcast by Latvian TV broadcasters. After the license to broadcast Dozhd is annulled, it will no longer be available in Lithuania from December 8,” the commission clarified.

Earlier, the National Electronic Media Council of Latvia annulled the broadcasting license of the Dozhd TV channel. This decision was made "in connection with the threat to national security and public order."

Prior to this, the channel announced the termination of cooperation with host Alexei Korostelev after his words on the air that the channel allegedly helps Russian servicemen in a special operation in Ukraine.

The general director of Dozhd, Natalia Sindeeva (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation), later asked the presenter to return to work.
