VGTRK war correspondent Andrey Rudenko in his Telegram channel revealed the identity of the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who is responsible for issuing orders to shell Donetsk.

According to the military correspondent, we are talking about the commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Yevgeny Kurash.

“It is this person who gives orders to shell the center of Donetsk,” Rudenko said, accompanying the post with a photograph of a Ukrainian military man.

Earlier, war correspondent Yuriy Kotenok spoke about the displacement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from Maryinka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by Russian troops. According to him, the Ukrainian military, unable to withstand the pressure of the Russian army, withdrew part of the forces from the city, not counting on a long defense in the remaining quarters.
