Ukraine will impose sanctions on almost 2,000 musicians, journalists, bloggers and representatives of other professions from Russia, Belarus and other countries. This is reported by TASS with reference to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) of Ukraine.

“Almost 2,000 propagandists will soon fall under sanctions in Ukraine,” the department said.

The NAPC clarified that citizens of Russia, Belarus and representatives of other countries, including musicians, journalists, bloggers, media editors, as well as employees of television companies and publishing houses, will fall under restrictive measures. The package of proposals for the introduction of personal sanctions against these persons, the department added, was approved by the interdepartmental working group on the implementation of the state sanctions policy for submission to the National Security and Defense Council of the country.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that Moscow sees no prospects for negotiations with Kyiv. According to him, for peace negotiations with Ukraine, it is necessary to fulfill all the tasks of a special military operation - the demilitarization and denazification of the country and the protection of Donbass.
