Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that because of the oil price ceiling, the West "should be ready for anything." He told reporters about this, RIA Novosti reports.

He was asked if Russia would impose its own minimum price on oil exports.

“If they start some kind of war without rules, we should not feel limited in our own means of counteraction,” he added.

Earlier it was reported that the current level of the marginal price for Russian offshore oil at $60 was set on the basis that this price is slightly lower than the market price for Russian raw materials.

According to the source, prices change every day, in this regard, the innovation guarantees that the price ceiling is below the market price of Russian oil.

For a long time, the European Union could not agree on a price ceiling for Russian oil. Most of the countries of the alliance were in favor of a price limit of $65-70 per barrel, Poland insisted on $30.
