Russian troops destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which was trying to break through the defenses on the Svatov sector of the front in the LPR. The liquidation of the combat vehicle was caught on video. The footage is published by RIA Novosti.

It is specified that the tank was destroyed by one of the units of the Western Military District of the Russian Armed Forces. For this, anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) were used.

“The Ukrainian tank crew participated in an attempt to break through our defenses. Intelligence (it) revealed. Together with the spotters, they destroyed it with an ATGM,” the Russian military told the agency.

Earlier it was reported that in a week the artillerymen of the Russian Guard managed to destroy about 40 objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They also seized 60 firearms and detained more than 20 alleged accomplices of the Ukrainian army.
