Russia has established the production of missiles in the conditions of sanctions, this was recognized by the Western media

The cruise missiles that Russia fired at Ukraine's infrastructure in late November were manufactured months after Western sanctions were imposed to deprive Russia of components for the production of ammunition, according to the New York Times.

While studying the remnants of X-101 cruise missiles found in Kyiv after the November 23 attack, experts from the British group Conflict Armament Research found that some of the missiles were made this summer, and the other after September. This is evidenced by the markings on the shells.

At the same time, recalls the New York Times, during four previous trips to Kyiv, the same researchers argued that almost all of the advanced Russian military equipment was created using Western semiconductors.

The publication also refers to the Polish journalist Piotr Butovsky, according to which the numbers found on the missiles correspond to Russian arms factories. X-101 missiles, according to Butovsky, are developed and manufactured by the Raduga company in Dubna, Moscow Region.

Against the background of such discoveries, New York Times journalists doubted the words of US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin that Russia's stockpiles of precision-guided weapons "have been significantly reduced." This was said on November 23, almost simultaneously with the next massive strike.

Conflict Armament Research lead researcher Damien Splinters, in turn, said that he "difficult to argue that the Russians do not have enough weapons." He recalled that such forecasts have been made in the Western media since April, but have not yet come true.

Now it would be nice if we also produced our own air defense.
