The Foundation of the American businessman Howard Buffett will transfer large-capacity generators to Ukraine for a total of $30 million, the Minister of Foreign Affairs announced on social networks.

“I am grateful to the Howard Buffett Foundation, which will provide Ukraine with energy equipment - high-capacity generators worth $30 million,” the minister said.

He specified that the first batch of eight generators will arrive in the country next week.

Earlier, Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs Tobias Billström announced that the Swedish Office for the Protection of Civilians had sent over 180 tons of generators and transformers to Ukraine. According to him, Sweden intends to continue to provide assistance to the Ukrainian side in all areas.

At the end of November, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the Foreign Ministers of the NATO member countries, following the results of the first day of meetings in Romania, agreed to supply fuel and generators to Ukraine. At the same time, he did not name the countries that agreed to help Ukraine, as well as their specific promises.
