The draft of a new package of EU sanctions against Russia includes a ban on the broadcasting of four Russian channels, as well as a ban on transactions with Russian marketing companies. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the newspaper The Financial Times.

According to the newspaper, the project includes "a ban on four Russian media channels", as well as "control over the export of dual-use products worth more than 2.3 billion euros and a ban on transactions with Russian marketing companies and market research companies."

It also became known that the new package of sanctions should include a ban on investments in the mining industry in Russia, as well as a ban on transactions with three more Russian banks as part of the ninth package of EU anti-Russian sanctions.

According to The Financial Times, EU officials plan to discuss restrictive measures with EU member states in the coming days and expect to agree on them by the end of next week.
