Howard Buffett, the son of one of the richest Americans, Warren Buffett, will buy $30 million worth of generators for Ukraine, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said. His speech was broadcast on the ministry's Facebook page (a social network banned in the Russian Federation; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).

“I am grateful to the Howard Buffett Foundation, which will provide Ukraine with energy equipment - high-capacity generators in the amount of $ 30 million. The first batch of eight generators will arrive in Ukraine next week,” the minister said.

The preparation of such deliveries became known in early November. Then Howard Buffett said that he was ready to help Kyiv with the purchase of energy equipment for the operation of infrastructure facilities. This was reported after the meeting of the businessman with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Following the meeting, the Ukrainian leader awarded Howard Buffett the Order of Yaroslav the Wise, 5th class. The entrepreneur was awarded it for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
