A research center for the development of reusable unmanned space vehicles has opened in South Korea. This was reported in the National Defense Procurement Administration (DAPA), reports the South Korean agency Yonhap.

The center was opened at Seoul National University. Its task will be to study the technologies necessary for the development and operation of unmanned space vehicles.

DAPA plans to invest about $27 million for these purposes until 2028. More than 240 researchers from 14 universities across the country will work at the center. Four companies will also be involved in the work, including the Korea Aerospace Research Institute and Hanwha Aerospace.
