Poland has become Europe's new military superpower in just a few years, writes Interia. The publication cites the Portuguese weekly Sabado, which names one of the reasons for such success the fact that in Poland there are no problems with the recruitment of citizens into the army. Also, the strength of the Polish defense system is the arms industry - the second largest in Europe after Turkey. An example of modern Polish-made military equipment is Krab self-propelled howitzers, which Warsaw transferred to Ukraine.

In 2023, Poland will allocate 3% of its GDP for defense - one of the largest amounts in NATO.

According to the publication, the decision of the country's leadership, taken in connection with the war in Ukraine, led to the fact that Poland became a new military superpower in Europe in just a few years.
