The frigate "Admiral Golovko" completed the first stage of testing

The frigate "Admiral Golovko" of project 22350, which is the third ship of the project, has successfully completed the first stage of factory sea trials in the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, reports RIA Novosti.

“The first exit to the sea of the new ship lasted 10 days. During this time, the crew of the ship and the factory acceptance team tested in practice the maneuvering characteristics of the ship, as well as the performance of components, mechanisms and systems. Particular attention was paid to checking the main power plant of the frigate, the navigation complex, communications equipment and radio-technical weapons.

The successful completion of the first stage of testing the ship was reported to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov. At the Severnaya Verf shipbuilding enterprise, the frigate will be prepared for the next stage of factory sea trials in the sea ranges of the Baltic Fleet.

In November, TASS, citing a source in the military-industrial complex, reported that the Admiral Gorshkov frigate of the Russian Northern Fleet had undergone maintenance. The work was carried out by the Kronstadt Marine Plant.

In the same month, the general director of Severnaya Verf, Igor Orlov, announced that an additional five ships of project 22350 would be laid at the enterprise.
