Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov hoped for the supply of tanks and combat aircraft from the West. His words about the expectation of weapons are reported by RIA Novosti.

“I remain optimistic and believe that tanks of NATO standards will appear on the battlefield, not only Leopard, just like today we have more than eight 155-caliber systems from different countries in artillery. I am sure we will have tanks and combat aircraft,” he said.

On December 5, the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia violated the supply of foreign weapons to the Ukrainian army. According to the Ministry of Defense, strikes were carried out with high-precision air and sea-based weapons. As a result of the attack, the transfer of reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) was also disrupted.

Earlier it became known that the Western partners of Kyiv are not yet able to replenish the reserves of ammunition, which were depleted due to supplies to the Ukrainian side. According to the Financial Times newspaper, in order to continue supporting Ukraine, states need to solve this problem. But there are some obstacles, among which are the bureaucracy and structural features of defense industries in the West.
