Member of the US House of Representatives, Republican Paul Gosar called Washington's support for Kyiv immoral. He wrote about this on his account on the social network Twitter, reports TASS.

Thus, Gosar reacted to the footage of the destroyed Church of the Nativity in Donetsk, which came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Our continued support for this war in Ukraine is immoral,” Gosar wrote.

He noted that the deaths continue, and Ukraine (apart from the Nazi regiments) has become an authoritarian regime that does not deserve any support.

The congressman advocated peace talks, not death and destruction, "not bombing churches."

Earlier, Gosar published a letter inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky to Phoenix, Arizona, for peace talks.

Gosar has already said that he will continue to block US initiatives to help Ukraine.
