Putin discussed issues of internal security with members of the Security Council

On Tuesday, December 6, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with the permanent members of the Security Council the provision of the country's internal security. It is reported by TASS.

It is noted that the meeting is held behind closed doors, journalists cannot attend it. It was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and others.

Earlier it was reported that in addition to meeting with members of the Security Council (SC) of the Russian Federation, Putin plans to visit the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, to participate in the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union. In addition, the head of state intends to hold a meeting of the Human Rights Council (HRC), and also congratulate the Heroes of the Fatherland in the Grand Kremlin Palace.

HRC member Alexander Brod reported that Putin's meeting with the Council is scheduled for December 7 in an online format. The EAEU summit in Bishkek will be held on December 9.
