During a telephone conversation on December 6, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the head of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Zhaparov, on his birthday. This was reported on the Kremlin website.

It is noted that the leaders of the two states also touched upon a number of issues on the bilateral agenda. The politicians noted the high level and dynamics of the development of the strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

The Kremlin press service also says that on the same day, before the phone call, Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to Zhaparov.

Earlier it was reported that Putin congratulated Patriarch Kirill on his birthday. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church is making efforts to preserve “traditional spiritual and moral values” in society, the Russian leader noted.
