Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has been urged by Polish Twitter users to resign after declaring continued support for Ukraine.

Morawiecki said that the international community and Poland would continue to support Ukraine in both the supply of arms and humanitarian aid.

“Dear Prime Minister, more refugees from Ukraine are coming, will Poland survive? It will get worse and worse, start thinking not only about Ukrainians,” wrote a user under the nickname Ryszarda.

Morawiecki is accused by his compatriots of neglecting the interests of his fellow citizens and wasting public money.

“Which of the Poles cares? We are more concerned that the state distributes OUR money to Ukrainians without looking back. You probably forgot, but this money comes from our taxes!” writes Jan.

Earlier in Poland, after the influx of Ukrainian refugees, a record incidence of HIV was recorded.

1910 new cases of HIV infection were registered in the country.
