On the morning of December 6, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the industrial zone of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said on the air of the Soloviev Live program.

“Right at the moment, the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is being shelled, or rather not her, but the industrial zone, from about seven in the morning. They strike at the industrial zone, very loudly, the city woke up precisely from the peals and from the arrivals, ”said a representative of the local authorities.

ZNPP is located on the left bank of the Dnieper, next to Energodar. This is the largest station in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity, and since March it has been occupied by the Russian military. The authorities of the Zaporozhye region periodically report shelling of the station.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi - the agency conducted an investigation at the nuclear power plant - called for an agreement between Moscow and Kyiv to be signed to ensure the plant's safety.
