Electricity production in Ukraine can be restored in one or two days. Such terms were named by the head of the board of the national energy company "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytsky, the Strana.ua edition reports on Telegram.

“There will be a shortage in the power system today or tomorrow, while some power units that were abnormally shut down today during the attack will gain power,” he said.

Kudritsky also noted that there are regions that have suffered more than others, for example, the Odessa region. “Now we are supplying voltage there through backup power schemes in order to power, first of all, the critical infrastructure of the city and at least partially supply electricity to citizens,” the head of Ukrenergo added.

Earlier, electricity was lost in Odessa after rocket attacks on the energy infrastructure. Most of the communities in the Odessa region also turned out to be de-energized.
