The famous American director Oliver Stone called the United States the real culprits of the conflict in Donbass. He expressed his opinion in an interview with the Serbian newspaper Politika.

“I would not want to go deep into what is happening in Ukraine, because this case is not at all easy, and everyone just shouts: “The Russians are attacking,” the material says. The director wonders who provoked this. He recalled that hostilities in Donbas began in 2014.

“How many people left there because the US was actively arming the Ukrainian army,” writes the documentary filmmaker.

He believes that Ukraine pursued a policy against Russia.

According to the director, the United States always "breaks all the rules when they want", but at the same time they are "professionals in condemning every country that violates the line of the world order."

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian drones attacked military airfields in the Ryazan and Saratov regions. Three soldiers were killed and four were wounded. The Russian Defense Ministry characterizes the incident as a terrorist attack.
