Head of section of thermal power plant in Kazakhstan accused of freezing people found dead

The body of Sergey Vidloge, head of the section of the thermal power plant of Kazakhstan's Ekibastuz, was found in the car. This is reported by the Mash Telegram channel with reference to a law enforcement report.

The body was found on the evening of December 4 in the interior of the VAZ-21099 belonging to the deceased, located in the garage of the Za Rulem garage society. The deceased was 33 years old.

The tentative cause of death is carbon monoxide poisoning. No signs of violent death were found on Vidloge's body.

At the end of November, due to an accident at the thermal power plant, Ekibaztuz was left without heat and electricity, when the air temperature in the city was minus 30 degrees. In this regard, the authorities announced an evacuation. Then the first deputy prime minister of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar, blamed the station staff for the incident. Now the consequences of the accident have been eliminated, people have returned to their homes.

Earlier it was reported that emergency power outages were introduced in all regions of Ukraine. As Ukrenergo noted, the situation worsened after hits on energy infrastructure facilities on Monday, December 5.
